This is corrected now. the error was in my custom config file. I had missed the following tag
<item type=''g_end'' />
from the section end before the line break. I guess 4.5.0.0 was not sensitive to this whereas 4.5.0.1 is?
Anyhow, it works ok now thanks.

I get a strange error now i have upgraded to 4.5.0.1. This all worked ok before hand. I configure it as follows (which has always worked ok) :
editor.AutoConfigure = CuteEditor.AutoConfigure.None
editor.ConfigurationPath = ''~/CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Configuration/EditorDOH.config''   My editor now looks as ...

Hi Adam Our users are still having problems with this. Did you have any additional suggestions to try? They are basically frustrated with the fact that when pasting into the editor there do tend to be formatting changes to the document of various types.
Is this as good as it gets and is this a restriction of working with MS word and ...

Hi When i switch between the html/normal/preview tabs, the content of the editor is stored in the clipboard. Is this normal? Our users typically copy the content they require from the orginal source, and then switch to the browser. If they have to hcange the tabs before they paste the content, they lose their content and end up pasting a ...

Hi Did you try it and get anywhere? WHat seems odd is that assuming i dont clean the cdoe, the content pasted in and hence saved to the db, is the original content out of MS word, with absolutely no formatting changes. If the editor makes no changes at any point, why when it is rendered out as word is the style changed? James

no, i took out any address stuff. Is all about Freedom of Information in the UK, so they can hardly argue if it goes on the web!

Hi In my first post there is a link to a document which loses formatting. On our install of the editor, it changes font to Times New Roman when rendered back to word. Even if you paste it into your default demo of the editor on this site, and select NOT to clean the code as you suggested. It remains in arial font in the editor, but when ...

Hi We are trying to use <BR> as the Break element. editor.BreakElement = CuteEditor.BreakElement.BR When we do this we can no longer user Bullet points in the text. Is this a bug or is there a reason for this? Thanks - James

Hi Adam
Any thoughts on why this is happening. This is becoming an issue for us here now and we need to try and resolve this asap. We have the editor in use on several projects, and others are experiencing similar issues when pasting in from MS Word.
Thanks - James

Hi Yes i tried that, and came to the same conclusion. I get a better look in the editor if i dont clean the code. What is odd is that the original word document is Arial, it appears in the editor as arial ( i have set the default font to arial for the editor, as per instructions somewhere on this forum.) But when i render it out as MS ...
