yeah should be able to,   do you want access to the folder for cutechat or for the application as well?   Also i just remembered im using the free/trial download of cutechat with the proper license that wouldnt cause it would it?   I figured there was no difference except the license?

No i dont believe there is any load balancing going on, at least not Network Load Balancing as there is only 1 dedicated server,   however the server is located in another country compared to where its run and it has a ping of around 200-250 would this make it heaps slower?   thanks again

how slow is slow?   As its a dedicated server with SQL server installed on it?   And would this explain why it stops the enter/send button from actually sending the message?   Pete

Any ideas with this?   I really need to sort it out asap!   Is there a way i can change the timing of chatrane.aspx calls? Can i make it a bigger number just to see if this would help?   Thanks

    New development   It seems that not only is it slower it is also stopping me from pressing enter/send, i can still press them but the text i type wont disappear from the message box for a while   Thanks again, Pete
