    Okay, after a bit of digging, I see a border color attribute that is a (semi) fixed variable in the include_CuteEditor.asp file which, I gather, applies to all themes (unless its specified in a certain line in the theme styles asp pages). At any rate, I can change what I would like to change, so on to the testing... Thanks.

    Ah, no.&nbsp; What I'm talking about is the Editor box itself.&nbsp; Here's what I'm trying to do (a garish example, but its only an example, not exactly what I'm looking for): &nbsp; &nbsp; And all the other stuff that goes along with it, such as the overall background color, etc., but primarily just the outside border.

    Thanks for the reply, but ... I'm still not getting it. When you say insert a textarea, do you mean just a simple form element, or the CE textarea? And how does one select the textarea to double-click so that some dialog appears? You see? Slow. I'm very slow. At least with this part, anyway. I was able to get it to read from a database ...
