• Re: Setting Editor.Text value when Editor block style is display:none in FireFox

Hi Kenneth, I have the latest build. I just downloaded it for a third time a few minutes ago. Your sample code yielded the exact same results for me as my own code (whew - I'm not crazy). I posted it to my site. Go to http://bayareacareerpathways.org.previewdns.com/test.aspx to see it ...

  • Re: Can't Upload anything V. 6.3

Adam: Aaron, I think for some reasons, you are still using old version. Can you download the control again and create a seperate application for testing? http://cutesoft.net/downloads/folders/cute_editor_current_releases/entry21904.aspx Hi Adam, Yeah, I'm definitely using the right ...

Hi Adam, I just downloaded and installed the latest version available from the Downloads section. Same result. Is there a different location for me to get a more recent build? The version on the downloads page said 11/7/08. Thanks. Aaron

  • Can't Upload anything V. 6.3

I get the following error message when I try to upload a picture, flash, media or downloadable file. Unable to write to folder:~/UploaderTemp. Please change the permissions of this folder or specify a temporary folder using TempDirectory property or setting temporary file location in web.config. I'm not sure what it ...

  • Re: Setting Editor.Text value when Editor block style is display:none in FireFox

I'm having the same problem, now with version 6.3. The first time you unhide the div with the Cute Editor in it (by setting display = block) it throws an error when you call Editor1.setHTML(myHTML); However all subsequent times I unhide the div, everything works fine. I have a live demo, which illustrates the ...

  • Re: Possible Bug when pasting HTML

Is this a bug then? Is CuteSoft working on getting it fixed? The pasting of HTML twice is making things difficult for my client. Sometimes it pastes not in immediate succession, but nested (the second paste slightly inside the first paste). Then very unpredictable results ensue. Please aknowledge that you ...

  • Ajax Uploader Security

I just saw a disturbing video about hackers embedding cross-site script in filenames and metadata of images and other uploaded files. What is Cutesoft's recommendation for input validation of uploaded files? Is there a simple method (like htmlEncode) for scrubbing all metadata fields, or do we need to actually create the ...

  • Re: Uploading Very Large Files

Okay, I get it. I can do the same stuff that Ajax Uploader does by having my users open Cute Editor, then click on Downloadable Files, then click Upload. But for $99 they won't have to, they can just go straight to the uploader. I like that option much better, and $99 is very reasonable. Just wanted to be clear. ...

Thanks. And if I wanted to have an uploader control on my form, without having an Editor on it, what would I do then? Thanks. Aaron
