Clicking on a "chat" link from your site, a visitor will be prompted to enter a username and will then be taken to a location where they will be able to chat with you. When a user enters the chat area on your site, our program will notify you of a visitor and will send them a welcome message. Both you and the visitor will be able to enter text into your respective interfaces and it will show up in the others area. This gives you the ability to answer questions from your visitor and potential client while they are on your site. No need to wait for e-mail replies any longer.
It is quick and easy to set up. It can be set up and run by a single administrator/operator or accommodate multiple operators.
Stage 1:
Setup Cute live Support Server. It is very simple and is explained in detail in the application's user manual.
Basically all you need to do is to unzip and upload some files to the web server (BY FTP) and update the database connection string. All the application can be deployed by FTP.
Stage 2:
Add Cute live Support button tag to as many pages of your website as required. A Cute Live Support button tag appears as a graphic on your web site that visitor can click to chat.
A Cute live Support monitor tag is invisible to visitors but enables you to see who and when is visiting this particular page.
Stage 3:
Cute live Support Server determines if your operators are online and displays the live Support button accordingly.
When operators are offline or unavailable, customers see "offline, please leave a message" button.
When operators are online and available, customers see "Click to chat" button.
When a visitor is on a page that includes a live support button tag, they can click the button to request
a chat with an operator. If the request is accepted, the operator can chat with the visitor.
