I'm using Cute Editor V4.0 with BreakElement = DIV and I notice a strange thing with it.

 

When I have text in the editor with no HTML tag, I select it all in edit mode with ctrl+A and type text again, it put me <p></p> on the new text. It does the same when I delete text with backspace after select and then type text again.

 

But after selection if I type Enter, it makes me a <div> and write in it which is quite normal as I'm using DIV for BreakElement.

And when I'm writing down in a blank editor it doesn't either put me <p> nor <div> which is normal too.

 

How can I prevent it from putting me a <p> when I'm writing on a selection ?

Yes I can reproduce the problem int the following link.

 

To do it : write "problem" in HTML mode. Switch to Edit Mode. Select All and then write "abcd". Switch to HTML mode, you'll see "<p>abcd</p>".
