How to disable chat_input div from focus after add message

I need this in the Javascript code. bcz the chat is in iframe on the top of the page and after submit new message the scrolls go down bcz of the chat_input div get the fucos

Adam, any help to disable the automatic focus to this div (chat_input)?

Try put the following code in the end of CH_MainForm.aspx:

if(chat_input.hasFocus())
{
    // Give focus back to the page
    var range;
    range = document.body.createTextRange();
    range.moveStart('textedit', range.text.length);
    range.collapse(true);
    range.select();
}

Tnx Adam.

I called this function on the " Body Onload"

But the problem is when the "chat_layout_message" is writing new sentence the focus of the page is change to this sentence.

This pic demonstrate the situation after clicking the red gif insert button (The page is jump to the new sentence)

Please remote it from page onload event.

Just put it in the end of CH_MainForm.aspx!

Tnx adam,

The function hasFocus() return error, no medhod like this on the page.

but the problem is not on the chat_input , is on the message_list (the message take the focus).

am i wrong?
