Is there a way to turn off the anti-spam feature on email links?  The informaiton my users are typing in my editor is being sent as an email so I'm not worried about email addresses being caught by SPAM-bots.  Also, I want the output readable by as many different email tools as possible, so I'd prefer to eliminate the html ascii encoding that the anti-spam creates if possible.

 

 

Yes, you can turn this feature off by setting Editor.EnableAntiSpamEmailEncoder Property to false.

 

Email contact links are an invaluable part of any web page. However, they are also vulnerable to a particular type of web robot known as the spam harvester or spambot. A spam harvester can read through the pages in your site and extract email addresses which are then added to bulk marketing databases. CuteEditor allows you reduce possible spam by 'disguising' a raw email address in an encoded ASCII form.. You can turn this feature off by setting this property to "false".

 

 

I am having this same problem, but I cannot find anywhere in the config to turn this feature off.  I have searched under every derivation of Editor.EnableAntiSpamEmailEncoder with no luck.

 

If I have to add this, what is the format and to what file to do add this?

Great!!  Thanks for the syntax.  Not to be a pain, but what config file do I actually add this to?  Are there more than one place to put it?

This property can't be set by config file. You need to set it in editor instance.
