Interfacing with ASP.NET membership

Hi.

How do I go about to interface with ASP.NET membership, for e.g. having different template-folders for different ASP.NET-users? It seems like I need to map a ASP.NET role/user to CE role/user. From the thread http://cutesoft.net/forums/thread/18384.aspx, it seems like I should use GetSecurityRoleFromYourAPP(). Is this still the case for CE 6.0? The function seems to be undocumented. Where can I find documentation about it?

This function doesn't exist in the real world. That code example just tell you how to do Personalization and Programmatic Security

after detect the current user security role.

If you are using ASP.NET membership, it's very easy to detect the current user security role.

For example:

public bool IsAdministrator(string useruniquename)
    {
        return System.Web.Security.Roles.IsUserInRole(useruniquename, "Administrators");
    }

if(IsAdministrator)

{

Editor1.SecurityPolicyFile = "Admin.config";
SetUploadsFolder("~/Uploads/");

}

else

{

Editor1.SecurityPolicyFile = "default.config";
SetUploadsFolder("~/Uploads/Member/");

}
