I have tried the latest version from 12. Nov 2007, who was suppose to cure the dead session problem. The problem is still the same, but I can tell, the application is running a little further then yesterday, but not much.

Problem arise 4. time method

public override AppChatIdentity GetLogonIdentity()

is called.

It is called from file Loadsettings.aspx, line 201 :

var IsAdministrator=<%=ChatWebUtility.CurrentIdentityIsAdministrator?"true":"false"%>;

After this call, Session is null.

Application used is .NET 2.0 running on OS Vista.

Please investigate this matter asap.

Hi Adam,

the Session is not null anymore. So far so good.

I wonder about the language. There are no Danish language file, but some part of the chat is in Danish, other parts in English. It also looks like it has a problem with Danish chars like æ ø å , they are not shown.

1. Why is half the words in Danish and not all or no Danish words?

2. Can you use unicode or utf-8 to show Danish letters?

You have hardcoded path to logo, it is not changeable through the admin interface:

Hi Adam

I can see the problem with the Danish chars now. You already have a Danish language file, without the Danish chars, and with some errors in translation/language.

Also, not all words are located in the langaugefile. I have translated/corrected the Danish file, but I still see English words in the Chat.......???

Please save the language file into UTF-8 format instead of ANSI format.

This should resolve the problem.
