I am facing a little problem in cute chat 2.0. We have our own community website working online. I want users to appear online as soon as they login at the site.  I didn't find anything like that in the user guide. I want to use web messenger instead of the chat rooms. The messenger will launched as soon as users login so there is no way of using the cutechat login system so how can I make the users appear in the online list. Confused

I think you are confused from my question. If I can see some one online at the cute chat forum ofcourse i can see him online on the web messenger too.

I have one major problem and that is

 

1. Direct login of users in the chat room without entering user name and password again.  

 

I don't want to use the login.aspx of cute chat to login at the chat side i want users to autologin in the site and after login they can use webmessenger and cutechat both. For the online members you guys use some lastlogin check and I am failed to get it through. All the other things are quite clear. I can not direct some one directly into the chatroom  because you use form authentication and the URL you guys follow for the chat room is same means when i tried to login in the room without signin it gave me an error and whe i tried the same after signin it worked fine. So how can I use it to bypass cutchat login for my users.

In the Cute Chat version 4.0, if you follow the integration steps, the users who have logged in your site can join the cute chat room automatically.

 

 

If the user is an anonymous user, the user will use a dynamically created username.
