new to cute editor

i have added

<%@ Register TagPrefix="CE" Namespace="CuteEditor" Assembly="CuteEditor" %>

and

<CE:Editor id="Editor1" runat="server" ></CE:Editor>

in the .aspx page. My requirement is to store this cute textbox content in database and retrive the text into same cute text box from database

so how can i access this control in .aspx.vb file?

Please use the following propety to set/get the content of cute editor.

Editor.Text Property

This property provides access to the text within the editable area of the CuteEditor control. It can be used to set the text when the control is first displayed and also to read out the text when a form has been submitted.

I am unable access editor.text property in my code behind file aspx.vb ? am i missing anything?

do i need to import any namespace or declare??

same problem for me - vs2008 vb - error is Editor1 is not declared pls advise!

1. Have you Put CuteEditor.dll in the /bin folder?

Place 'using' keyword in code behind files you would like to access them.

Or <%@ import if you are using them in inline code.
