the editor should be linked to <Parameter Name="@texto" Value='<%# IIf((Request.Form("texto") <> Nothing), Request.Form("texto"), "") %>' Type="WChar" />

 

It all worked fine... even with tinymce (different integration, I know)

It doesn't work, because (I think) dreamweaver is looking for a form element....

 

"Request.Form("texto")"

, it doesnt even recognizes the value "texto" in server behaviors - You had a post for Dreamweaver MX,

but I can´t make it to work for cs3 and .net either.

Have you tried the following code?

I get a lot of stange characters in the textarea of cute editor from previous tests (#1p#2#01p#02#01p#02#01p#02#01p#02t#09#07t#09fffgggg), but even so I cant update it... the behavior Update Record doesn´t recognize the editor  ID... "texto"

 

Tried with <CE:Editor ID="texto" name="texto" runat="server" Text='<%# artigos.FieldValue("texto", Container) %>, nothing.

 

I thought maybe I coud pass the "text"  as a variable to an hidden field...?

 

 <input type="hidden" name="texto" value='variable from cute'>

but I dont know how to in .net :(

Can you show me an example of cuteeditor sending values to a sql db through a form with .net VB ?

I decided to clean some javascripts, including tinymce leftovers... it was commented... still ... :S

 

instead of changing the var to Editor1, changed Editor id to my var:

 

<CE:Editor id="texto" EncodeHiddenValue="false" runat="server" Text='<%# artigos.FieldValue("texto", Container) %>' />

 

It woks sweet... at least in my local sever...

 

Still haven't tested it online...

Online I'm having some nasty problems with permissions and upload file/image... even changing right click permissions for internet users.

 

 

For permissions problems I'll make another post to make it easier for other users to find.... :)
