Ajax Uploader very SLOW in localhost

Hi,

i'm installed in my Web Application developed with .NET C# the new Ajax Uploader.

iput the webSite on the server and i use the WebApp in a lan and the AjaxUploader work correctly, but if i use AjaxUploader from the Server on WebApp the uploading are very very slow, it's curious because should be the opposite, what do you think about this??

How can i solve this problem.

Please check your web.config file.

Maybe you set a low value to the upload speed.

i have search this but i don't Add this key. I would specify that not always appens this case, but more often when we use ajaxUploader on the localhost. Even to upload file of 2MB from localhost che progressbar stop in a specified % and continue after 20 seconds. it's curious...have you any idea?

i can't belive, installing Silverlight all this problem are solved...sorry but in documentation Silverlight isn't required...WHY????

Can you try the following example and get back to me?

http://ajaxuploader.com/Demo/fulltest.aspx

1. If Ajax Uploader detects SilverLight is installed on your PC, It will use the SilverLight solution.

2. If Ajax Uploader detects Flash is installed on your PC, It will use the Flash solution.

3. If Ajax Uploader detects Iframe is supported on your Browser, It will use the Iframe solution.

4. For downlevel browsers, Ajax Uploader will render as default ASP.NET upload control.

Did you ever find a solution to this?

I am experiencing the same thing. On production it works fine but on my localhost it takes forever...

Hi,

Please check the UploadType property , set it to IFrame/Flash/Silverlight mode.

Which mode is slow ?? Is it slow , or stopped ?

I am having issues with IFrames and Flash on both IE and Firefox. I have not tried silverlight.

That's really strange.

Did you try other PC connect to your PC ?.

Did you also try http://127.0.0.1/ ?

Does your PC install some network software ?

I'm getting the same problem. Progress bar sits at zero for a while and moves up very very slowly in localhost environment. Have checked on the fulltest.aspx page and all uploaders work except the silver light one.
