it keeps hanging on "1 seconds remaining"

I am testing the control in 2.0, VS 2005.

It hangs on the completion of the upload as you can see in the image... it also throws a javascript error "Object Expected"

The temp folder is setup in the webconfig like this

The permissions are set to full control for all users necessary (ASPNET, IUSR, etc)

Am I missing anything?

Does it happen to all files or one particular file?

Can you try the following code?

I'm having this problem too.

It is intermittent.

Usually occurs on the last file when I have multiple controls on the page.

I have the exact same problem. I am adding the control dynamically to the page where there are alot of other controls.

Sometimes it finishes and sometimes it stops on 1 second remaining.

I figured out my problem, it was related to a session that ran out of time. Seems to work like a charm now.

I noticed that it happens on IE (7) for me, but not Firefox or Safari

Can you provide more information about this issue?

Are you using the version 3.0?
Are you using https?
Are you using medium trust?
Do you have problems with all browsers?
Do you have problems with all files or just large files?
Do you have an online demo showing this issue?

Are you using the version 3.0?

The latest download from Friday

Are you using https?

Are you using medium trust?

We’re at default trust levels. I’m not sure how this applies since it is intermittent and apparently browser-specific. We’re running on localhost.

Do you have problems with all browsers?

IE 7 has the issue. FF and Safari don’t seem to

Not at this time.

1. Can you try the following example?

2. Have you set up the temp folder and added AjaxUploader httpModule into the web.config?

That link seems to work. Are any of those controls on that page using MVC?

I am using MVC.

I am setting temp folder in code, but the temp directory I supply (a file share) is getting ignored. It ALWAYS puts it in *my* temp folder:

"c:\Documents and Settings\rob.bartlett\Local Settings\Temp\AjaxUploaderTemp\persisted.{GUID}{FILENAME}.{EXT}.resx"

Do I need to open another forum post on that?

UPDATE: I set the temp folder in the web.config instead of in code, and it now uses the config value (STILL ignores the code-set value)

Hi,

Please set the uploader.AutoUseSystemTempFolder=false; at every where you create the MvcUploader.

I am having trouble with this as well. It seems to be sporadic but also seems to happen more often with larger files. The most recent one was 236 MB.

Has this been resolved?

After upgrading to the new version the files upload will stop at 1 second remaining. After about a minute or 2 it will complete the upload to the temp directory. I have created a setting in my web config for the tempfolder

key="CuteWebUI.AjaxUploader.TempDirectory" value="~/Uploads/Stream"

and property AutoUseSystemTempFolder = false. I tested the file on your demo page and as excepted the file transfer was much slower but steady none-the-less.
