Re: Application error when launching a chat from a desktop module

    Hi jmeacoe,

I can not reproduce this issue.

Do you mean when log in livesupport client then click on the edit link of the cute livesupport module?

Can you detail the steps to reproduce this issue?

    Regards,

    Ken

Re: Application error when launching a chat from a desktop module

Install the latest version of DNN Livesupport found here:
     http://cutesoft.net/downloads/folders/current_releases/entry21860.aspx

The first Error, I came across was that the v.5 license did not work, so I was given a v4 license key to get this functioning.

Log into your client side application.

On your DNN site add a desktop module.

Click on the picture in that module.

That is where I get the error.  I had tried this before and everything worked properly, but this time I am getting the error being thrown.

Re: Application error when launching a chat from a desktop module

I did a fresh install, and was able to get rid of the error.

I think it had something to do with the fact that we are load balancing our servers.

You can mark this case as resolved.

Re: Application error when launching a chat from a desktop module

    Hi,

Can you check the version of the CuteChat.dll ?

I think you have made a mistake on the CuteChat version.

    Regards,
    Terry.
