Big Kahuna,

Have you installed .NET framework on the windows server 2003?

If so, the spell checker should work automatically.

Actually, the window opens with a page not found.

oh, and the server has .net framework 2.0 SP2, .net framework 3.0 SP2 and .net framework 3.5 SP1.

I figured out that asp.net was not "allowed" on my test server and once I enabled it I got the following error:

Server Error in '/' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Runtime Error

So where do I place the following two files?

NetSpell.SpellChecker.dll
en-US.dic

If you get page not found error, you need to debug the file path part.

Okay, I had to create a \bin folder in root. Is there any way to change this location or is it hard coded in the system?

In asp.net, all DLLs need to be put into the bin folder of the application. You cannot change it.
