I would need to get a quick and easy way to attach a style sheet to a template?

Welcome to CuteSoft support forums!

Please check EditorWysiwygModeCss property

EditorWysiwygModeCss --- Specifies the location of the style sheet that will be used by the editable area.
Multiple Style Sheets are supported.

Example:

'Specify whether the content is readonly
 editor.EditorWysiwygModeCss = "example.css,~/portal.css,/default.css"

I'm truly sorry, I just purchased the editor yesterday , and I am not too familiar with it. I changed this property yet it does not seem to be working.

Louise,

I have read your email and checked your web site.

Do you mean you want Cute Editor automagically parse the CSS classes from EditorWysiwygModeCss and populate all items into CssClass dropdown?

nope not necessarilyy that it show s the classes. but the template in the template itself - I would like the style to be link in the template diectly in the head of the template:

(<style type="text/css" media="screen">

</style>

so to keep the HTML clean but still have the div and images of the style sheets showing and positionned only the <main content> div is editable, the rest will not be. But I do not see where I can linked the style into the template as the template starts after the <body> tag and the style sheet needs to be put in the head . I do not know if I express myself properly here....

OK Adam. I found a solution to apply my styles sheet - turn out it works nicely by modifying the template.asp.

However, I have issues with the expand with Firefox and the text area of the editor does is unequal and does not cover the full area available - it gets smaller with the HTML and even smaller with the Preview. Any idea what could cause that?

nope I do not have this issue with this one and nor did I have it with the example. But when I integrated the editor into the application using the 'include', than the issue apppeared.

1) in the IE, the textare white box displays although the text area is not expended; the preview and the and the HTML are not the same size as the 'original"

2) in Firefox, the textarea displays the same (not expended) however, there is no 'white' area for the text; the preview and the HTML are not the same size either.

It looks like the problem relates to your own application.

It would be really helpful if you could send us an online demo URL which demonstrates the exact problem with more information.

hello Again Adam,

Nope the problem is not related to my apps. What I did is that I installed the editor alone, nothing around it on a simple file, and it does the same thing. I will send you the URL. However, it appears that if I include the editor into another folder, it does not work, if I create a unique file and save it in the folder were the editor is located, it works. ... But the HTML and the Preview's width are not correct even there - it gets half the width is should have.
