I just fond your product and I downloaded the DotNetGallery. It is great producd!

I got one question here: I'd like to make the Edit and upload function with the user name and password protection, is it possible doing it with your product? If yes, how can I do it?

You can do something like this:

 

Private Sub Page_Init(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Init
     If IsAdmin Then
         gallery1.ShowUpload = True   
         gallery1.ShowBatchBuild = True    
     Else
         gallery1.ShowUpload = Fasle
         gallery1.ShowBatchBuild = Fasle
     End If
 End Sub

it will not help ! very easy ppl still will be able to access pages to upload pic or edit desc.

This issue has been resolved in the latest version 1.2.1.

 

Please downlload the control again.
