When can we expect to see a new release of CuteChat?

Is there any information regarding what the new release might contain?

 

One thing that has been commented on my website using the chat (under DNN3.1) is the complete lack of customisation for the chat room icons, and no ability for users to see how many users are in the chat room prior to entering it.  Yes, I know it's lazy, and users can enter it and then come out again if nobody is in there, but this feature is something they want.

yes, we are working on the version 3.0 right now.

You can change the image name or overwrite the room icon with your own images.

Actually you can show how many uses in the chat room prior to entering it in the current version. You need to modify some provider code.

Right now we are very busy in the version 3.0. If we can't finish the version 3.0 in Dec, We will fix that for you.

 

I'd be very interested in knowing the steps needed to allow the users to view the number of chat room members prior to release 3 coming out... this is one of my users top remarks and would be good to give them something to keep them happy providing it's fairly easy for me to do!

Ok.

Please use the following temp solution.

 

Open the lobies.ascx, you can find this file under DesktopModules\CuteChatControls.

 

Delete all the code of lobies.ascx.

 

Copy/paste the following code into lobies.ascx.

This works, thanks... at least the users might now get off my back about not being able to see how many people are chatting in the rooms!!
