I was trying to install the CUTE WEB MESSENGER on the server and getting the following error message:

 

Warning 1 The element 'compilation' has invalid child element 'compilers'. List of possible elements expected: 'assemblies, buildProviders, codeSubDirectories, expressionBuilders'. D:\Cute Chat\Framework 2.0 Web\RoamaxChat\web.config 11, 5

 

Error 2 D:\Cute Chat\Framework 2.0 Web\RoamaxChat\Default.aspx: ASP.NET runtime error: The current trust level does not allow use of the 'compilerOptions' attribute (D:\Cute Chat\Framework 2.0 Web\roamaxchat\web.config line 12) D:\Cute Chat\Framework 2.0 Web\RoamaxChat\Default.aspx 1 1

Can anyone put some light on the same?

Please post your web.config (remove the connection string) and tell us which version of asp.net you are using.

I had sorted out the issue same day by removing the childern element 'compiler'.

 

FYI, I am using Visual Studio 2005 tool and trying to run application on WINDOWS 2003 Server on frame work 2.0.
