Autoconfigure in DNN

I am using autoconfigure in my webconfig to assign different toolbars to different roles. I tried adding an autoconfigure file with the name "RoleName" and used that in the webconfig but I get a minimal toolbar, why is that?

AutoConfigure Enumeration only support the following members:

Member Name	Description
None	Disables all items on the toolbar
Default	Enables the buttons in the ~/CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Configuration/AutoConfigure/Default.config file
Full	Enables the buttons in the ~/CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Configuration/AutoConfigure/Full.config file
Full_noform	Enables the buttons in the ~/CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Configuration/AutoConfigure/Full_noform.config file
Minimal	Enables the buttons in the ~/CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Configuration/AutoConfigure/Minimal.config file
Simple	Enables the buttons in the ~/CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Configuration/AutoConfigure/Simple.config file

If you want to assign a new configuration file name, please use the following format:

NewRoleName_ConfigurationPath="~/CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Configuration/mytools.config"

Adam,

Is this implemented in the DNN provider? I have tried everything I can think but after two hours I give up.

I had a look in the provider and saw that ConfigurationPath does not exist in getSettingByRole. I added it as follow and rebuild the project but is still does not work. I really need this to work. Adam, can you help me?

Public Sub getSettingByRole(ByVal role As String)

If Not Null.IsNull(objProvider.Attributes(role & "_ConfigurationPath")) Then
_ConfigurationPath = objProvider.Attributes(role & "_ConfigurationPath")
End If

Thanks Adam. One other question...I have multiple roles in DNN. If a user is a member from:

- Forum Admins

- Article Publishers

and both have in the web.config Autoconfigure set to none in what order is the config for the toolbar processed?

In this case, all the setting of the "Administrators" role will apply.
