Toolbar drops style

Hi,

I'm testing CuteEditor. We wan't to use it in our case management system for e-mail conversations. I have one problem though.

When I first view the page with the editor on everything looks fine.

But when the page reloads the toolbar looks strange.

Strange thing is it only happens when a composite control (of wich CuteEditor is a part) recreates it's child controls.

I just don't know why.

I use .Net 2.0

I'm using .Net 2.0.

When it happens, do the toolbuttons work as expected?

Buttons work OK. No mouseover effect though.

I think my problem has to do with something that loads if !Page.IsPostBack

Can you create a simple aspx which can demonstrate the problem and send it to us?

I am having the same problem. I am trying to place the cute client files in another virtual directory, and the menu bombs. We have several sites and we want them to all reference the same code base, so we put them in a shared directory. Any idea how to fix this?

Jim,

Your case is easy to fix.

Please create a bin folder under your new virtual directory and copy the CuteEditor.dll into the bin folder.

Well,

I've tried but I couldn't recreate the problem.

Must be something with a style that's not loading.

Here are to "view source" HTML files. Is there a way to find out if a style doesn't load from them?

/uploads/member_HandleCaseWorking.htm

/uploads/member_HandleCaseNotWorking.htm

I don't think this is a bug in the editor. Must be something I do that prevents something to load properly. It's driving me crazy and I have a short deadline (as usual).
