javascript error

hello all,

well i have just upgraded to ver 4.0

however i am receiving a javascript error as shown

any suggestions

Maybe the CuteEditor.js.aspx could not be downloaded correctly .

Could you try this :

open the html source , you would find the :

just copy it to your IE address bar like :

http://yourserver.com/CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/CuteEditor.js.aspx?setting=xxxx

and see whether it has any problem .

Thanks for taking your time to help me on this problem

I'm getting this error after inputting the instructions you sent

also the cute editor this is contained within is a user control

This is a general error , that the server could not store something , or some thing has expires .

Could you try to refresh the page that contain's the editor ? Maybe this could reload the script ..

I have refreshed the page also now this is not a random error it still points to a javascript error

Terry,

well i have just retested from another machine and the editor works great, however on my development box i get the same javascript error until i reload page several times then it works until i change a value then recompile again then the error occurs again.

well i'll keep you posted we have a business unit demo in the am with your editor as one of the main controls

Terry ,

this problem will not go away, I am still get the error but only in ie 6.0,
All other browsers including ie on different machines i am receive no error

any suggestions

your test works perfectly, one test i was able to perform was, if i unchecked "Display a notification about every script error" the problem would go away
