Is the chat client polling the chat server continuously to see if a chat request is present or is the client notified only when a chat request comes in? Is there a Windows desktop client?

The operator client is a windows desktop client. The operator client will poll the data from server continuously to see if a chat request is present. It also poll the visitor information of your site.
