    PDF?

    Hello,
I'm trying to track down some info about the ability of CuteEditor for .NET to generate PDF files directly from the editor. I downloaded the files and when I check createPDF.aspx, all I see is a Check the PDF file link that points to a static PDF that came with the download. What gives?

A online chat with CuteSoft during the week yielded "It's not our software" and http://www.pdf995.com and I am not finding a lot on the subject. Could someone please address this question:

How can I use CuteEditor for .NET to construct an HTML block that I can save on a webserver as a PDF?

    Many thanks!
    Scott

    Re: PDF?

Good luck trying to get an answer to this.  A month ago, a couple of us posted similar questions about how good the .pdf generator is, and we never got a good answer.  After testing, I think it's about worthless.  I gave the CuteSoft guys some HTML samples and the poor pdf that was generated, but never got a response.  Not even 'Hey, you're right....  we'll look into it'.....

    Good luck

    Jim,
Thanks for that! The chat person danced around it, pointed me to another website and disconnected me! I'm having a hard time figuring out whether this product is for real!

I combed these pages and was sort of fearing that the organization jumps on the easy questions and ignores the harder ones. Come on Cute - there's no shame in saying, it does not work BUT there's lots of shame in pretending and avoiding the question.

ALL WE WANT IS AN HONEST ANSWER~!

    edatasmith and Jim,

The current version of PDF/RTF converter have some problems with complicated HTML code. Those issues are not easy to resolve. So we try to build a major version from scratch. But this new version (http://richtextbox.com/test/pdf/demo.aspx) also has some problems.

We are working on improving it.

you have had a bad experience with live support. I will investigate this issue.

The product is real. However it cannot handle the complicated HTML code right now.
