CuteChat Speed

CuteChat is just very slow ..is there anything that I can do to make it post faster? there is just so much delay between inputting messages and having them post that it is irritating. . .

The update message interval time set to 1 second in the CuteChat1.1 , plus the network delay , you will feel the messages be updated slow .

The CuteChat v2.0 se the interval time to 300 , so you will feel faster .

Terry is correct.

Cute Chat speed = Cute Chat Min data update frequency + user NetWork delay

By default Cute Chat Min data update frequency is 300ms. In the version 1.1, it's value is 1000ms. It's already very fast.

In most cases, its value doesn't need to be changed.

If you do want play with it, try the following steps:

1. Login as site admin.

2. Click the chat admin button

3. Click the configuration tab in the left panel bar.

4. Locate "Cute Chat data update frequency" field.
