URGENT HELP: Javascript Error Access Denied (IE) Support-Visitor-Monitor.js.aspx

I have downloaded the trial version of Live Support just yesterday so it is the latest version. It is working perfectly and I added the code required for visitor tracking and live chat and it shows beautifully.

However, while everything is working fine on FireFox, Chrome, Opera, I have a serious problem with IE. If I browse to my website with IE7 it pops an error Access Denied. And with IE6 it pops Permission Denied.

When I debugged with VS 2005 it showed me that the error is in the page Support-Visitor-Monitor.js.aspx on the line xh.open("GET",url, true, null, null)

When I checked the value of url, it shows:

If I use it alone in the browser (the url above) it gives me
    READY:Guest:1465dc00-c594-4be5-b92c-5073335ecb08

Please solve this as soon as possible I am seriously considering buying a license but this needs to be resolved so I can truly try the software !!!

You can visit my website using IE to see what I mean: www.mindfieldsolutions.net

Guys I solved the issue, I just replaced the Support-visitor-monitor.js.aspx by Support-visitor-monitor-crossdomain.js.aspx and it worked.

    Hi,

It is true that the error message on IE was gone after I did the above changes, I now tried going online from my machine and I tried browsing from another machine and apparently the visitor monitor is not working.....

    Any ideas about this ?

You can check the link above for the visitor monitor code I have....

    Please help...

Adding chat button and monitor tag to web pages

If the target web page is in another domain, you need to use the following cross-domain tags instead:

    Chat Button:

    Monitor:

    asp.net Chat http://cutesoft.net/ASP.NET+Chat/default.aspx
    Web Messenger: http://cutesoft.net/Web-Messenger/default.aspx
    asp.net wysiwyg editor: http://cutesoft.net/ASP.NET+WYSIWYG+Editor/default.aspx
    asp wysiwyg html editor: http://cutesoft.net/ASP
    asp.net Image Gallery: http://cutesoft.net/ASP.NET+Image+Gallery/default.aspx
    Live Support: http://cutesoft.net/live-support/default.aspx
