Using the Departments option

    Using the Departments option

    Hi -
     
    I've been readying the posts regarding the departments and am still a bit confused.  What I am looking for is to send the person to a group of qualified operators instead of notifing all operators.  I set up my departments (currently experiments with a couple of operators) and assigned those operators to the different departments.  Am I correct in understanding that there is no way to do this through the software, and that the operator has to determine which people to take?

    Hi,
     
    The operator software never force customers to agents.
     
    In the support-administration page ,
    (/CuteSoft_Client/CuteChat/supportadmin/Live-Support-Config.aspx)
     
    you can specify this option :
     
    Show users in queue by department True/False If true, the operator would only see a list of users that requested a specific department.
