    Gecko Browser Issue With Anchor Tags

    In IE, the syntax is written out correctly for an anchor on the current page: href=#date

    However, in gecko browsers, it puts in the full relative path:
    href=/Portal/EditModule.aspx?tabid=174&mid=824#date

    I cannot replicate this on your demo page. I am using relative URL's in my portal.

    Is there a configuration somewhere that will prevent this?

    THANKS

    Which version of Cute Editor are you using? The demo is running version 6.6.

    Re: Gecko Browser Issue With Anchor Tags

    I am using 6.4 for Framework 1.x - however I did get the content out of the Scripts directory of 6.6 last week (see this post: http://www.cutesoft.net/forums/thread/58975.aspx). But I did not realize that the version had already jumped to 6.6, I just downloaded 6.4 several weeks ago.

    Thanks

    Re: Gecko Browser Issue With Anchor Tags

    Well I put v6.6 in place and cleared all browser caches, but the anchor tag link is still screwed up in Gecko browsers. It keeps putting the relative path into the links to anchors. It also screws up any links to anchors that were created in IE (if a gecko browser accesses the page in admin mode).

    Any other ideas to try? This is a big deal to us, because Gecko users that are admins and create any anchor links while in admin mode are not going to have working links.
