Upload button not clickable

I have an aspx page with uploader that works great. But when I try to open same page inside an IFrame the upload button is not clickable.

Wonder why and if there is any solution.

Which version of Ajax Uploader are you using?

my code:

And I use fancybox to show this page inside an iframe modal.

Hi,

Which browser are you testing ?

IE , or Firefox3.6 ?

We have such problem before. but it have been fixed.

Can you download the last version and try again ?

By the way , in the IFrame , will it works if you do not use InsertButtonID ?

Please also test UploadType=IFrame , or Flash/Silverlight too.

ok...

UploadType ="Auto" works fine i IE8, But the button is not clickable in FireFox 3.6.2.

I changed to UploadType="IFrame": works fine in IE AND FF but MultipleFileUpload does not work, it only selects one file/time

UploadType="flash" works fine, but the main reason that we choose AjaxUploader is to not use any plugins.

I'm able to reproduce this issue using Firefox 3.6.3 and the Ajax Uploader Control v 3.0.0. Is there a fix available?

This is how we are specifiying the control:

<CuteWebUI:Uploader ID="fileUploader" runat="server" InsertButtonID="btnUpload" CancelButtonID="btnCancelUpload" OnFileUploaded="Uploader_FileUploaded" OnFileValidating="Uploader_FileValidating">

</CuteWebUI:Uploader>

One thing to note, we don't have an uploadtype specified, but the control itself is in an iframe on a page. I'm going to try specifying the UploadType to flash and see if that works.

It works fine for Firefox if you specify the UploadType as flash. What is the default UploadType for the control if it's not specified? Is it Auto? Maybe you have a bug in your capability detection code for newer Firefox Browsers when the control is inside an iframe?

1. If Ajax Uploader detects SilverLight is installed on your PC, It will use the SilverLight solution.

2. If Ajax Uploader detects Flash is installed on your PC, It will use the Flash solution.

3. If Ajax Uploader detects Iframe is supported on your Browser, It will use the Iframe solution.

4. Ajax Uploader will render as default ASP.NET upload control.

For your issues, i think you may have problems with SilverLight solution.

If our iframe online demo works for you, can you download the latest build then try again?
