I've recently upgraded to the latest version of CuteEditor version 6.6? and now am getting the following error message before the editor displays:

An error occurred in script 'C:\wamp\www\HDEmail2\cuteeditor_files\include_CuteEditor.php' on line 807:

Undefined index: REMOTE_HOST
Date/Time: 4-23-2010 12:46:48

I'm using PHP version 5.3.0 on Apache 2.2.11

$REMOTE_HOST or $_SERVER['REMOTE_HOST'] will give you the reversed ip if apache is setup to do hostname lookups.

It looks like your server is not set up correctly.

REMOTE_HOST' The Host name from which the user is viewing the current page. The reverse dns lookup is based off the REMOTE_ADDR of the user.

Note: Your web server must be configured to create this variable. For example in Apache you'll need HostnameLookups On inside httpd.conf for it to exist. See also gethostbyaddr().

Thanks again Adam.

My localhost is on Windows but my live site is on Linux so I'll avoid gethostbyaddr().

Just for your info, I checked with Microsoft and they recommend getnameinfo() over gethostbyaddr()
