In CuteEditor, the hidden input tags were visible when editing, but in Rich Text Editor, they are always hidden. Is there some way to make them visible so that users can click to edit them instead of having to go into the source view and edit the hidden field manually?

I think CuteEditor will not shows the hidder field in edit view too, you can try the online demo at http://cutesoft.net/example/general.aspx. By the way, the RichTextEditor has not the setting to change thie behavior for now, sorry for your inconvenience.
