• 'Fit To Windows' and nested user controls

Hi Adam, Seems there's an issue when integrating the editor on a page where the editor is loaded into a nested user control. When clicking the 'Fit To Window' button, it only maximises to the top left corner of the containing UC. While this isn't a huge problem, it seems to size itself as if it were taking up the entire screen ...

  • Re: CuteEditor stripping out # symbols in href

I generally try to staw away from using ## in code as much as possible. Damn cold fusion introduced it I think.

  • Strip TD widths?

Don't suppose there is any way to strip out any non-standard table formatting via paste or button? Many users are copying content from say MS Word, or Frontpage which has table widths set everywhere, which is a pain in HTML. Would be great to be able to strip these from the table easily.. Any ideas? Cheers, Andrew

  • Re: Selecting default class for the editor

Hi Adam - thanks for your reply. The 'normal' class that I'd like the editor to use is actually already in one of the existing stylesheets, so I'm not sure how adding a new one will help. The 'normal' class is parsed correctly and shows up in the dropdown list - so thats not a problem. The issue is that if users don't ...

  • Re: Selecting default class for the editor

OK, after doing some tests it seems the editor gets its display settings by default from the BODY class element. Is there any way to tell the editor to get its default style from somewhere else? I guess what I'm trying to accomplish is for the editor to display what will be shown on the page. If a user explicitly applies no ...

  • Selecting default class for the editor

I'm using DNN3.0.11 and therefore the EditorWysiwygModeCss property. The styles are parsed correctly and are displayed in the Class dropdownlist. I only want the users to use these classes so have removed other toolbars, such as 'Font-Name' and 'Paragraph' etc. All is fine when users apply styles to the selected text, however ...

  • Root Image Directory in DNN 3

Hi Adam, This still doesn't seem to be getting populated and sticks to the default (c:\inetpub\wwwroot\). I'm using 4.0.0.5 and need to manually apply: RootImageDirectory = PortalSettings.HomeDirectory in Initialise() event of CEHtmlEditorProvider.vb. I haven't got time at the moment to step through it and see why ...

  • Re: Paste from Word button

What do you mean by this? ''If you use the paste from word button to paste a block of text it pastes outside the editor and messes the page up.''

  • Re: Preview in new browser window?

Yes, but preview is pretty much pointless now as you can edit your text in full screen mode anyway... Just click the third button on the toolbar and you are in full screen mode. IMO, a WYSIWYG editor pretty much defeats the point in having a preview option as you're already seeing pretty much what you'll get anyway - Hence the ...
