My client does not want the words and character count to show.  Is there a TemplateItemList or something that I can define that will eliminate it?

Is there any way to prevent pasting in or typing in more than a particular maximum number of words in the editor? I am using the editor for classic ASP and can see how to limit characters, but not words. I need to be able to access the word count on the client side to ensure my users have actually entered something in the control before the form is submitted.   Is there a method or property to do this?   Thanks, Becky
