When the cursor is inside the editor, and TAB key is pressed, 3   are inserted at cursor position. When TAB key is pressed again 4   are inserted, whether the cursor remains on the same position or not.

Is this a bug? My application depends on number of   inserted on TAB key.

That's a bug. Thanks for pointing it out. We will resolve it in the next minor release. With the new release, we also allow the developers configure how many spaces are inserted when the TAB key is pressed.
