We are using CuteEditor in our .NET web product, and we have had reports of testers from one of our users that the buttons do not function in Windows 7 (hoverover descriptions do not show up, and clicking the buttons has no effect).

 

Has anyone else heard similar reports?  Do we need a newer version of CuteEditor?  (How can we tell what version we have?)

Please right click "bin\cuteeditor.dll",  and then click "properties" and "detail", you will find the version.  The latest version is v6.6.

Can you test the cuteeditor on your end? Can you reproduce this issue which your customer reported to you?

http://cutesoft.net/example/general.aspx, this is latest version online demo, I checked, and it works fine in windows7.

We don't have easy access to a Windows 7 machine to test.  I'll see what we can do.  However, we are running 6.0.0.0.  Could this be the problem?

Please let you client test on our demo http://cutesoft.net/example/general.aspx.

 

If the demo works for him, please donwload the latest version and try again.

 

Also, you can let him test on different borwser on your site, it maybe a security settings problem of the browser(try re-set all security settings to default).
