Include only one Layout type, one Theme type

In a web site if I know I will only use one Layout, SlideShow for example, can I eliminate all the other folders so they will not have to be compiled and loaded each time? How about Themes; can I eliminate the Element and Rainbow folders if I am only using Classic?

Yes, if you do not use that layout/theme, you can remove it.

Thank you, Kenneth.

I have decided it will be easier and faster for me to develop my own routine for my own needs than it will to try to follow and modify someone else's code. You have done a great job, though.
