CPU Usage above 80% (cute messenger 3.1.1)

I successfully integrated Cute Messenger 3.1.1 into my website.

Now, my only problem is at client side, CPU usage is always above 80%. For powerful PC, the CPU usage is about 60%. For laptop, the CPU usage is usually above 80%. This is unacceptable.

I tried to tune the parameter, such as ServerAvgTime, ChannelSyncInterval, ChannelSyncIntervalMax, etc..., but still no luck.

This is the only problem which hold me from purchasing.

Please advise.

That's very strange.

Can you try the web messenger of CuteSoft.net site?

It only uses 5% of CPU.

I also tested ur site's messenger and no problem at all.

I installed your standalone messenger in my IIS. The CPU is also very high.

Then, I installed integrated messenger into my application. The CPU is also very high.

For both installation, CPU usage on the web server is normal. Only client side got problem.

So, can u share some of ur settings with me? may be it just caused by minor settings.

Are you testing in localhost? Can you put your site in remove server?

Can you put the default configuration back?

Not localhost.

We just changed web.config and global.asax as per ur instructions.

We host the application on a web server and running on LAN.

With default settings, the CPU is already very high.

How about this? later, I will let you access the cute messenger hosted on my web server.

Can you download the version 3.1.1 standalone version and install it on your server?

And make sure it works successfully first.

we have solved the problem.

The reason is our current website contains one DHTML news scroller. If we put embedded cute messenger (ascx) and the news scroller on the same page, the CPU usage will be high. If we separate them to diff page, no problem.
