Hi all.
My company is using Cute editor and we have customers that we would like to allow to use Javascript within Cute. We have disabled "EnableStripScriptTags", and are testing the fix.
Unfortunately, I have noted that when Javascript is entered in the editor, we get strange behaviour in IE. After saving some content to a file with JS in it, the next time we load this content, the Javascript executes in the "Normal" view although the Javascript itself is html encoded. This messes up the file content, because after the article is saved, the results of the JS execution as well as the JS itself are saved back to the file.
In Chrome, the JS does not execute when re-loaded and viewed in the editor, which is what we want.
I've done a small unit test and noted that a regular text area with html encoded scripts displays properly as html encoded text in both IE and Chrome. It is only when we use Cute Editor that this problem occurs.
Any suggested solutions?
