Hi,

I am trying to use the AjaxUploader version 3.0 20100107 on my local workstation Windows 7 64bit, IIS 7, IE8.0.

I can upload small files under 1 mb fine, but if I try files 2 or 3 mbs or larger I get the "Silverlight: The upload task is interupted" error.

I copied the web app to a Window 2003 IIS 6 server and tried it from my same client and the uploads work fine even up to 1 gig. I need to know how to fix this.

Please upgrade to the latest build then try again.

The lastest build version is AjaxUploader 3.0 20100818.

Thanks Adam, but I get the exact same result with the new dll as well. Any other ideas or info that I can provide to help figure it out? I get same result with IE or Firefox, so I am guessing it is a serverside issue.

Works with small files, but not larger ones.

Works on Window Server 2003 32 bit IIS6, but not Windows 7 64bit IIS7.

Yes, it works fine on your demo site. It works fine on my Windows Server 2003 IIS6 32bit box.

When the site is hosted on my Windows 7 IIS7 64bit box or on a Windows 2008 Server IIS7 64bit box it will upload files less than 1 mb in size, but not files larger than a couple of megabytes.

I just copied the site to the Windows 2008 Server box this morning and got the exact same result as the Windows 7 box. Do you have users or do you guys have it running on a 64bit IIS 7 machine?

We have tested 64bit IIS7 server. It works fine in our side.

Can you try disabling siliverlight then try again?

uploader.SetAdvancedOption(UploaderAdvancedOption.NoSilverlight, "true");

It works fine with Silverlight disabled? Is there a way to figure out why it doesn't work with Silverlight?

We are investigating this issue.

The problem is we cannot reproduce this issue in our end.

Is your site online?

If so, can you set up FTP access to your server and send it to [email protected]?

Hi,

Can you test upload the file in another PC?

And find a way to limit the network speed.

Our silverlight code will choose chunk size by the current speed.

For you case , the code will send another 3M chunk to server,

And that 3M request may have problem on your case.

So please test it more. If we get consolusion , we will adjust the chunk size to avoid it.

I am sorry. It was a case of stupid user error. I had an incorrect value set for requestLimits maxAllowedContentLength. You would think by now I would know how to convert megabytes to bytes. Thanks for your help.
