How to stop the auto focus inside the editor?

how do I top the auto focus inside the editor when a page loads.  I have an editor near the bottom of a page, when this page
loads I do not wish the page to auto scroll down to and focus the cursor inside the editor.  I wish the page to behave as it normally would.

Can you tell me which version of CuteEditor you are using?

4.1 I believe.  I could not see the cursor flashing inside the editor in the link you gave me.  Since the editor is at the top of the page it wouldnt auto scroll anyhow.

Q.. Is there a way to stop the auto focus?

Re: How to stop the auto focus inside the editor?

Perhaps I need to restructure this line of questioning for it to be addressed

Q..Is your editor built to auto focus on page load?
Q..Every instance of myn and your examples do?
Q..Can I stop this, if so how?

There are going to be times when an editor is needed at the bottom, or near the bottom of a page (lets say the 2000px Yaxis location)  I wish this page to load as normal.  Not auto scroll down to the editor, not place focus inside the editor.

Q..If there is no way of disabling this, do you intend to code for this in the future?

Re: How to stop the auto focus inside the editor?

I am having the same issue.

I have the most recent version of CE and the focus always goes to the last editor on the page.  And if there is only 1 editor the focus goes to that, and if the editor is at the bottom of the page it scrolls to it as well.

This issue has been resolved in the version 4.2.

Re: How to stop the auto focus inside the editor?

Great - when did version 4.2 get released?  Where can we read about the fixes, changes, enhancements etc?

Are we going to be able to control what editor (if any?) has the focus on a page with multiple editors?

Whats the persons contact for the download?

How is the IE 5.5 SP2 problems coming along, any news?

Re: How to stop the auto focus inside the editor?

    Adam

This is FYI not a major issue for me (unlike the IE 5.5 SP2 thing)

The Editor.Focus feature doesnt work like I expected it to.  It does stop the auto page scrolling, great!!

However when set to true, not only does it not focus inside the editor (what focus means to me - shouldnt we be able to type without clicking into it?) it does not auto scroll if the editor is at the foot of the page.

NOTE: There is only one editor on this page..

BTW  I have replied to the IE 5.5 post - The preview, html and Normal buttons now work trouble free (Great stuff!!!) however the page does not post ANY values to the destination page (see reply - http://cutesoft.net/forums/11064/ShowPost.aspx for details)
