smallest editor footprint?

    using the editor as an "image picker" (editor is 1px x 1px, auto-config="none")
     
    the rendered size is 3.5kb in FireFox... 17kb in IE6 (big difference)
     
    I'm using multipe editors-  any way to shrink that down more?
