We have the same problem over here with a.o.t. é, è.

These are typed in (NL characterset), not selected via the special characters button.

Here also, sometimes it works fine.

Switching from preview/html view/normal views seems to have some effect on this issue happening, but we are not sure how.

If we paste from Word with ' in the text sometimes strange things happen, including "null" values in the editor.

 

Maybe some kind of setting in our implementation that we've not done correctly?
