I have downloaded the current version of Cute Chat Web Messenger. I have run the SQL DB script and the database is setup properly. I am now trying to open the Visual Studio solution for the SamplePortal, however each time I open the solution file Visual Studio 2005 closes automatically. I am running Windows XP and have the latest version of Visual Studio. I also have recently downloaded some add ons such as Enterprise Library, Ajax 1.0, etc., but nothing that would seem to explain this error. Has anyone seen this problem before?

 

On another note, does anyone know if this company is still in business? I have sent a number of notes to their Tech Support ID, but I have received no responses. Also, there doesn't seem to have been an update for the CuteChat/Web Messenger products since last August, which I find rather surprising.

 

If I can't get this up and running, I will have to find another product for my company. Are there good competing products available?
