I would like to evaluate the Cute editor. I do not know how to use the demo files that I downloaded. Please help.

It appears to me that there is C# code in the VB demos.

What are the steps to take to get the demo to run in Visual Studio 2005?

Please create a virtual directory and point it to the folder which cotains the sample files.

You can check the following deployment guide as well:

We have checked all the demo files. All the code example in VB demos are written in VB.net.

The above solution also works for VS 2005.

Take a look at the file "how_to_create_a_custom_button.aspx" in the vb directory of the download. That Page_load function sure looks like C# to me...

It's just one example of many. Perhaps I downloaded the wrong thing? The file I got is "CuteEditor_for_NET5.zip"

Sorry for the confusion.

Please remove that example file.

That example file has been replaced by a new example "HowTo\AddButtons\vb\create_a_custom_button.aspx".
