I am trying to integrate the ASP.net edit control into our in-house content manager, and for the most part everything is working VERY well.
We do not want to allow our users the ability to add images, files etc. to the HTML, instead they enter them elsewhere in the content manager. Therefore I want to be able to totally disable the various upload galleries. It says in the documentation that to enable the gallery, you set the value of the upload path into the various .config files. Having commented out these locations, and opened the Hyperlink Editor, I am still able to attempt to link to a file in the gallery (using the browse button), and get an error because the default folder (~/Uploads) doesn't exist.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way to totally disable each gallery? I do want to retain the Template gallery however.
Cheers
Colin
