upload on a different page than the browsing page

Is it possible to browse the files on a page, not starting the upload automatically, and then when pushing a button: transfer the items collection to a new page with another AjaxUploader control and start the upload on that page ?

This feature is not available right now.

This feature is supported.

So it is currently not possible to get the items Collection into an Object (a List , datatable or whatever) ?

I want to be able to browse several files using the control, and then pass the items collection to a new page, where the process will zip some of them into packages according to some criterias, and then upload the zipped files in background. I want a new page so that big files can be uploaded in background, allowing the user to do other navigations with his current webpage.

Hi,

When the html window unload , the upload can't persist the browsed files.

I suggest you use AJAX to switch the content , instead of switching a page.

AjaxUploader support continue upload progress while the page doing AJAX postback.

But even on the same page, how can I read and write the browsed items collection before the manual upload?
