Disable ToolBar Buttons

Hello,

I want to disable some of the toolbar buttons. The DisableItemList "hides" the buttons. I want them to be displayed though in disabled state. Is it possible?

If not, can I disable the mouse over/ mouse out effects on the buttons using code (dynamically)?

It's possible but it needs you write some javascript code.

You need to find thje image object of the button and change it.

I do not want to do it through javascript.

So is there any way I can disable the mouse over/ mouse out events of the buttons?

JavaScript is the only way to change the this behavior.
