Evaluating Live support questions

We are evaluating Live support and have a few questions.

1. Does the live support need to be installed on each website we want to provide support on? Or can we install in one place and link all to this one place? We would prefer this option, as its less overhead and we run some non .NET sites.

2. How can we change the operator being shown so that its not the same as the username?

3. Is there a way of hiding the passwords in admin? Can we encrypt the passwords in the DB?

You can install Cute Live Support on one web site and link all to this site.

We call this setup as cross domain solution.

If the target web page is in another domain, you need to use the following cross-domain tags instead:

The username of web visitor is a temp username. So it could be same with operator. But the live support still works because they are not the same users.

Ref licencing and using the cross domain solution. What sort of licence would we require?

Will a single domain licence be valid, we will only be installing the live support in one place.
